anatomy of an easter outfit.
i finally got to wear my brand new dorothy perkins dress. it is super fucking cute, and also is getting me used to wearing belts again. i have not in a long long time, but omg so adorable. this was a good purchase, it’s so cute! one thing about dorothy perkins dresses that i’ve noticed so far? they’re short. really short. have to be aware of that.
to go with the dress, i had blue tights that i wore with my blue daisy dorothy perkins dress, but for easter i was feeling festive (that feeling totally died right away) and went with lavender. 
with my snazzy tights, i also wore my yellow arizona shoes, they needed some breaking in, but i’m getting used to them now. they look super freakin’ awesome with tights (so far with light-colored tights and dark-colored tights) but also without. mainly because it totally shows off my awesome tattoos. so awesome. 
i also wore this cardigan, in bright yellow(which for some reason is not on the site?). it looked awesome, but oh god it was so humid warm and gross, yuck. bad idea.
basically, i looked super fucking awesome and spring-y, but it was the WORST. and i was rolling around half-naked within 2 minutes of getting home from church.
ugh.

for some reason the fire hydrants shut off all the water to the schools today. that meant no running water, no hand washing, no bathroom.
it was awesome.
why?
because we totally got to go home.
my three-day weekend just became a four-day weekend. aw, yeah!

tonight we went to see tv on the radio at the house of blues. i was kind of excited, but really, how do you follow up a four hour rock fest at madison square garden? seriously, how can you? it’s not even fair, really.
we showed up a bit late, but it was weird even going to a concert on that day. was kind of going along our day without really thinking about it and then, ‘oh, hey! gotta head to the show!’
we missed part of it, but while there, i did see my favorite songs. it was kind of unreal. i got a tshirt, but it is pretty huge cuz i wasn’t really paying attention. also it was over SO SO QUICK! also, the boy was a champ, he’s not the biggest fan of them, and went anyway.
i’ve only had a brief bit of time to go over the new album — i can’t stop listening to LCDMSGNYC —but so far, i’m a fan!
