like…i can’t quite wrap my mind around just how it’s a legal and widely-accepted practice for the government to regulate when/where/how/what women do with their bodies. i mean, personally, and mind you, this is only personally i have some issues with abortion. in that i know that *I* couldn’t do it. PERSONALLY. that’s all! it would never be a option for me. sanctity of life, religion, moral/conscience issues, etc. i mean, that’s it, ya dig? for me. but i think that everyone needs to make that decision for themselves.

if anyone saw the oscars last night, you’ll notice that the usually bombastic and hilarious chris rock had to have been hopped up on opium or heavily sedated/tranquilized. either that or i’m fairly certain that there were snipers with their sights trained on his skull the entire evening, you know, just to make sure he didn’t tare try and do anything the slightest bit amusing.
is it wrong i didn’t see any one of the movies nominated? or have any idea what was going on? my pop-culture cool kids points just took a nose-dive, i’m sure. but whatever, i never really got into the oscars in the first place. and i will say the following:
watched part of the oscars post-resignation delivery with teh boy, with scooter, robin & the boy, while there were many stuffed animal mutilations going on. it was fabu. and i made quick ghetto quesadillas last night for my peeps. fun times, fun times.
so i get to work this morning, and find out that hunter s. thompson is dead.
