sometimes i want shoes, and while i have no idea why, i spend a lot of time “window shopping” all sorts of adorable shoes that i’ll either a.) never buy or b.) never wear.
it’s an exceptionally productive use of time, really.
of course, every once in a while, i actually do buy the pair(s) of shoes that i covet and then it just throws everything off.
c’est la vie.
right now, what i’m looking at is rings. rings and things, and i don’t know why precisely, but it could be because every time i take a gander at the Old Standby rings that i wear they are quite a bit visibly tarnished, misshapen, or deformed. it’s annoying.
and, i used to have a lot more to choose from — at one point, in high school (and maybe even jr high) i wore rings on nearly every finger — but since the horrid break-in of my Old Evil Apartment, i’ve lost a lot of my play jewelry. or gift jewelry. i had some pretty nifty rings to wear, and now…just a few that are definitely getting worse for the wear.
that is why overstock.com is really, really bad for me right now. then again, it’s not like i’m going to do anything about it…
in which case…pretties!
so pretty…although, i unavoidably have a theme: silver, black, silver. sometimes blue.
what can i say? i know what i like. then again, as usually happens with me & pretty jewelry, when would i ever wear it?
