yesterday, the weather was bullshit. i hated it all: first a bunch of snow that totally drove everyone bugfuck crazy and then rain that turned boston into an ice-coated hellhole.
the snow, i would not have minded so much. the pouring rain that iced over every damn surface and made commuting to and from work a fucking hazard? not so much. fuck you, rain.
last night for dinner, i decided to reap all of the rewards of our ikea trip from last weekend (oh ikea, how i fucking love you) and made some SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEDISH treats for dinner: meatballs and elk-shaped butter noodles. mmm! plus: broccoli!
it was tasty and delicious and thus my love for ikea knows no bounds. although, i recently unearthed a recipe for homemade swedish meatballs and may have to try that out in the near future. (aw yeah)
today, things are slightly better in that i have not fallen on the fucking ice.
but most importantly is the fact that the kitteh? HE BE SHORN! that’s right, took nachito in for a grooming at petsmart and that pussy is shaved clean! (it was awesome, despite the fact that this kitty “hair cut” session costed more than double a hair cut for myself. damn you, kitty!)
