i’ve been scouring concert sites and ticket vendors and everything i can think of to find concerts lately. music and the opportunity to see my favorites live is pretty much all i have going for me.
there is nothing.
boston is a veritable wasteland of live music right now because everything that’s coming through is arguably shitty (seriously? does there really need to be another dave matthew’s band concert here? god) and the crowds/venues around here are even shittier so i do not blame any band or artist at all for not coming through here.
though, the concert scene was pretty much all this place had going for it (compared to say middle-of-nowheresville, colorado) and so the dearth of shows i’d actually be willing to pay money to go to is a bit frustrating.
maybe…maybe i’d see florence and the machine, but i don’t anticipate the boy liking them in the slightest and i’d need a bit more time to give them a thorough listening to before i decided if i want to spend the money to see them live.
