today we went to visit anne bowes of heronsway pembroke welsh corgis. it was awesome. despite all my research and mental preparation, there is no way in hell i was even remotely close to prepared for real live corgis up in my face! it was awesome. i got to play with them and cuddle them and pet them and love them! and they were all gorgeous, fantastic dogs. so friendly, so pretty! i want them all!
also, we were there for quite a long time and anne was very thorough and helpful. plus, despite all the corgi research i’ve been doing, i actually managed to learn a lot! and we got a bunch of helpful pointers.
we’re still going to the puppy event in march, but so far our decision to get a pup from anne has not wavered. if anything, it was further cemented today.
