the midget was right, seether is pretty fuckin’ rockin’. i just acquired some of their stuff — i hadn’t realized they’ve done so much soundtrack work previously — and it is adequately spiffy. kinda reminds me of staind in some respects, but in a good way. and you know, with billy corgan out being the world’s Biggest Asshole and hip hop being somewhat lackluster (in some aspects only) these days, i needed something new. i had damned near forgotten how much i love driving rock. the distortion, the screamy lyrics, the pounding drums. therefore, yes, the midget is right (i’m sure she’d say she’s always right) and seether does rock. or at least, i think so. and it’s making me happy. so yay!
