oh…and while we might think that aaron lewis isn’t fuckable, he does have a hella great voice…and the new stuff *sigh* mmmm! although, i do agree with jetta, dude from incubus is fucking hott…that is all.
okay, now that that is sufficiently taken care of…the day’s adventures…and were they adventuresome!
for starters, john and i decided to frolick off to the arsenal mall in watertown square…wee! but being the infinitely wise folk that we are, we turn to the cheap lying whore that is mapquest and get our directions. and we’re off!
so walkies walkies walkies times a million and one! walkie walk walk!!! and lexington becomes main and main becomes arsenal st. unbeknownst to us and we’re kinda freakin’ that maybe we’re going in the wrong direction, and it is here that i must pause to say just now much i really hate new england, reason #587: the streets are seriously fucked the fuck up!
side note: let’s say you’re walking and street A becomes street B and you don’t even know it…well if that happens then you are definitely in fucking new england. fuckin’ cowtown roads…and i thought swink was screwy!
anyway, moving on. we finally finally get to the freaking mall, after a million more walkies and almost thinking we went the wrong way or something and bout ready to give up, there it is. and i’m all EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! cuz as of lately, that’s the only noise that i make these days. and so we scramble over the road and see the mall and there’s a tarj-zhay! and a home depot! and a ruby tuesdays! (which i don’t really like, but oh well) and i’m like EEEEEEEE!!!!!!! because it so reminds me of home…namely south pueblo. that side of watertown is so like south pueblo, especially the barren cinder block yard and empty streets and shit. so we amble over to the mall and wander around and what i’ve discovered is that apparently you can’t adequately browse through a mall unless you find a directory, because john was seriously wiggin’ that there wasn’t a directory around just standing there for him to look at. i was thinking we could just look around and find the stores there, but apparently you need a list before look…whatevercakes. heheh…he’s such a silly boy…but i love him!
oh, and we’re wandering around and shit and then all of a sudden we are accosted by an at&t saleswench, and while i am immune to the evils of at&t, sadly john is not. and it went something like this:
saleswench: do you have a cellphone?
john: uhhhh….*deer-caught-in-headlights-look*
saleswench: what’s your monthly bill? how many minutes do you get? who’s your service provider? blah blah blahcakes….
john: *oh-shit! face* uhhh….t-mobile…i uh…dunno…uhhh…
saleswench: you don’t know how much you pay? do you know what we could offer you? how many minutes? long distance?
john: uhhhh…..
and then…pineapple to the rescue!
pineapple: look, i’m sorry, but i got screwed by at&t in the past, frankly, want nothing to do with them…him either.
saleswench: *somewhat deterred* um, what did they do to you?
pineapple: *patented evil pineapple smile* they screwed me really freaking hard…they’re evil.
saleswench: do you know why?
pineapple: we’ll i’m not entirely sure but i think it has to be that they’re of the devil. that is all. buh-bye now!
and thus, i saved the day. booo-yeah!
and after procurring a few very cute summer clothing items…weee! we went on to tarj-zhay! wooo hooo! oh tarj-zhay how i missed thee!!! *sigh* ooh and i got the cutest sandals ever! yay!!! oooh! and i really want a bike damnit, i miss my bike! *pouts* john was checking them out too…
and after the wonderfulness that it tarj-zhay, we went to friendlys for dinner/lunch/whatevercakes…and might i add, mudpie madness is greatness!!! mmmm!!!! all in all, it wasn’t bad. and the walk home wasn’t nearly as long as the trek out there. i feel decieved by mapquest…mainly because it is such a cheap lying whore. :)
and then i came home, and john was like, we walked over 12 miles today.
