i completely spaced because i’ve been so busy — not quite yet overworked as i am not at the twitchy stage — but, some goodish stuff has been happening at work. i’m likely to get whatever time i need off to make the annual trek to southeasternbumfuckville, colo. to visit the fam damily…(sigh) and i totally got a pay raise yesterday (effective immediately). w00t! OT isn’t eating my soul as much this week as last, of course i am only doing two hours…but, i’m sorry that’s all i can manage this time around. i’ll make it up as soon as possible. i was finally trained in the last station for processors mon-wed by patsquatch and left in charge of it all week, and while it is kinda boring and stuff…i’m content. i mean, i’m easing into my job so that even on days when i’m so busy i don’t even have a moment to stop and hear myself think, i don’t hate it. i do sometimes hate the hours or just the mere necessity of having to slave away all day to survive…but, i like the people i work with. and the work i do. or rather, today was the first day anything i’ve done actually made a difference. but hey, if you can’t score work perks for your friends, what’s the point, right?
yeah, so this whole thing is monumentally boring as all fuck.
