i’m so happy i got it. which, if i hadn’t have called off yesterday — which rocked SO HARD — i wouldn’t have had time to pick it up.
i am, however, considerably heartbroken that they’re coming to the orpheum and tickets are so beyond sold out. i’m always getting hosed out of tool tickets.
today is possibly one of the best days ever, in the world. or at least for me, best day ever in one long ass time. also note: raspberry popsicles are a fucking godsend, my fucking kingdom for a raspberry popsicle!
anyway, it’s gorgeous out…too gorgeous out, i can barely stand it! and most importantly, i am not at work. and my day started with unbelievable awesomeness since like, midnight. seriously, i’ve had over 14 hours of pure, mind-blowing awesome since midnight, basically.
it really doesn’t get better than this, i don’t think. and in a while…i’m going to *consider* putting on pants and running a few errands. though the presence of pants is highly debatable at this point.

i’m talking about bill motherfucking nye, dudes. the science guy, ok? not just any ol’ science guy but THE science guy. along with 3,2,1…Contact and motherfucking Reading Rainbow (i know, i know…gay!) bill nye shaped my childhood. i fuckin’ adored that man, he was like a god unto himself. oh…bill nye, you awesomely awesome creature. how i wanted to be him when i grew up. how i wanted to blow stuff up, and light things on fire, and make things combust (ok, so i was a bit volatile even then…).
bill nye is fucking dreamy. that’s all there is to it. i mean, fucking look at him…LOOK AT HEEEEMMMM!!!! see the awesomeness? bask in the knowledge, fucking bask, people! also, he has over 6 dozen bow ties…over 6 dozen! how is that not awesome?!
aaand aaand aaaaaaaaaand HE HAS A NEW SHOW!!! OMG!!! (thank you, boy). and the first episode is on astrobiology…how fucking sexy is that?! oh jesus…
