i love jason lee. no, seriously, i totally love him. i loved him in mallrats (stinkpalm!). i love love loved him in chasing amy because not only was he funny, but he was awesome enough to negate the presence of ben affleck (tough job!). and i’ve loved him in everything he’s been in since — kevin smith flick or otherwise.

jason lee is awesome, and funny, and far cooler than tony hawk will ever be in his wildest dreams. and even though he’s a scientologist and named his son pilot inspektor, i love him anyway. furthermore, jason lee has re-introduced me into the world of television.

you know it’s real love when you can sit through a 0-5 season and still love your team. or even worse, have to sit through watching the motherfucking broncos win with all those smug-ass denver fans watching in the bleachers and not want to stab everything.

because i do love my boys in silver & black…but fuck, man. could there possibly be like, just a tiny bit fewer penalties?! PLEASE?!? gah. oh and lamont jordan is still my forever baby daddy…but i know the game was rough on him too. also, jerry porter has been suspended for 4 games by art shell…that is, like, not good. on top of randy moss telling everyone and anyone that he wants to be traded and wouldn’t mind leaving oakland. fuck that noise.

next up is arizona at home, but that could get post-poned for stupid baseball playoff games (ghey) and i’ll be in chi-town for work either way and may not get to see the game…rough. at least janikowski is still having a perfect season, for what it’s worth.

but…win or lose, i still loves my football. especially loves my football with booze. and hey, at least kickball was awesome and fun, and we totally beat the hipsters (super-ghey team name).

and, tv on the radio still rocks my socks so hard. they are so much fun live, i had no idea! super fun! i can’t wait to see them again.

the boy and i saw episode 3 tonight. and right when everything was coming to some sort of culmination, right when it was really getting good, right when everything that had been building up for the entire episode was coming to a head…

the credits popped up.

god damn you ron moore! damn you to hell! or damn the network or damn something, man. damn something. because after last week, i’m completely entirely spoiled. no, i take that back: after last SEASON i’m completely and entirely spoiled. lay down your burdens part 2 was 90 minutes…so was the premiere of season 3. and it’s completely ruined me for a regular hour long show.

because i know there’s like 30 more minutes of awesome we could be basking in, if only the scifi channel would let us…why won’t they let us?!?!

workout rat i’m home, and sweaty, and gross…and sore.

but it’s a good hurt. it means i did something right, it means that i worked hard, and once i cross the pain barrier it means i can work harder. this is good…because i don’t want to become even more of a fatty mcfatpants than i already am. you know, cuz i’ve seen where it gets you & it ain’t pretty.

boxing is fun, also. more fun than i remembered and i am gonna do my damnedest to keep up with it. although now i’m starting to think about someday having my own punching bag in a corner all to myself at home. that would rule. and kickball isn’t much of a workout, but it gets me out and active and that’s good as well.

so…i am making an effort to get in shape. cuz right now the only shape i’m in is “round” and that just ain’t gonna cut it. and, if i can’t control anything else in my life, i should get a handle on this.

besides, i wanna wear my vinyl pants again. (yes, that’s right pants)
