you know, i think i may actually get to like nancy pelosi. i’ve kind of glossed over the fact that she’s the first female speaker of the house, because frankly…i just don’t care. the american people getting all excited that they’ve elected [insert minority group, sex, religion, ethnicity here] into [insert public office here] like it’s some big deal is just stupid. considering how old the country is and it’s taken this long to get some recognition out of the anglo-saxon christian male cookie cutter mold…bad form, america. bad form. that’s like running around and proudly exclaiming “i’ve never been to jail for molest children and donkeys!” or “i’ve never had a flaming case of herpes!”
but anyway…that’s all moot now.
bush clearly is still struggling with the very basic tenets of english grammar, so i’m happy he didn’t just start vigorously humping pelosi’s leg during this exchange. though he does seem to want to talk more and more to keep her from talking. but i don’t think this woman is the kind to back down easily, i think she can hold her own in a room full of barely functioning retardscongress. and it only just really hit me this weekend that this woman is third in line for the presidency. whoa.
