yes, yes…i know it’s not the FOREVER i had to wait for season 3 to just start, but still. today’s (last night’s) episode was just so god damned good that i want more more more more. besides, the next episode looks like it’s going to be all kinds of awesome.

i need a haircut.
my hair has gone from bad to worse, and then some. i just don’t know what to do with it anymore. blue was fun, but a bit messy and a shit ton of upkeep. and i’ll probably do something like that again, but still…tons of upkeep.
i want shorter hair, but i want to still look like a girl. oh hell and ass. that’s what my hair looks like right now: hell and ass.
lovely, right?
i’m trying to not be super vain, but i’d also like not to be super fugly, either. which is a fine line to walk when you are a girl. that becomes even more blurred when you have stupid, ugly hair & need a haircut.

i like making posole cuz i get to use my daddy’s recipe. and it makes me feel closer to him a bit. and it’s the funniest recipe i’ve ever gotten. plus, it’s really yummy. but, also, i just like cooking.

something has been bugging me a bit about the last battlestar episode. nothing to do with the quality, of course. because it was freaking awesome, and this is quite possibly the best season to date (best.season.premiere.ever!!!). but just…a little something.
i watched last week’s episode again last night — i just had to, ok? — and came to a few realizations that were kind of sludging about since i first saw it. something besides the usual boomer/sharon/eight/whore hatred. which is not to say i don’t still hate her filthy cylon guts…it’s more along the lines of:
