this is one of the best articles on the war i’ve seen so far.
and that’s so weird to say, to think, to articulate words about the war, because as an american i get the luxury of being very removed and detached from it all. that right there is shameful enough, but still…it’s so easy to forget when i’m snug in my little office building or comfortable at home with my kitten or driving down the street completely carefree and happy that there is a war going on…and it is horrible.

november already and it is too soon! jesus. time is running out so very very fast.
last night was fun, though very very warm. everywhere was too warm except for outside. it might have actually been really fun to trick-or-treat (perfect climate for it) but then there would have been little to no drunkening. and you can’t have that…or more specifically, i can’t have that.
my witch costume was pretty lame, but i have to say i really like my stripey halloween socks. they are fun. and our house is fun, though warm. and i really like the skyy vodka mini lites i “liberated” from there.
good times…but it does suck when halloween falls on a weekday.
