while stranded in las vegas and getting ready for my flight at ass o’ clock, i had the tv on. and there was nothing but weather channel and garbage. i stress the term “garbage”.
part of said garbage was this, on mtv (surprise, surprise…).
this is a show that depicts the process of giving a spoiled, wealthy, stupid, snobbish, retarded teenager a lavishly extravaggant “sweet 16” party. and all the retardation that ensues.
how these kids don’t choke on their own tongues or get strangled to death by their own asshole parents, i’ll never know. thousands of dollars on a bunch of bullshit: stylists, catering, dresses, etc. all for kids that can’t even really enjoy a party or at least get liquored up enough to make asses of themselves for all they’ve put everyone through.
like the fat kid in the part of episode i saw in ratty las vegas hotel, she was a bitch. huge, stinkin’ bitch. and from the looks of it, adopted. i have no idea why everyone wanted to go to her lame, stupid party. and what kind of 16-year-old has can-can girls at a birthday party? although i do think i saw a midget, but that could have been the stress/sleep deprivation talkin’. anyway, it was flat out ridiculous. and sad.
it’s really something nauseatingly special. and i feel dumber having seen it. super fucking dumber.
