another thing for the whole country to get pissy about, not just homosexual marriages…homosexual families. gay dudes adoptin’ youngin’s and lesbians goin’ out and gettin’ all sorts of inseminated & preggers. oh noes!
i love how the US government — possibly one of the most corrupt, immoral, disfunctional entities EVER — has taken it upon itself to determine what is “right” and “moral” for the rest of the country and the world. how a predominately white, heterosexual, middle-aged, christian, male group of people could ever possibly come up with non-biased, objective, constructive decisions regarding the welfare of anything else except their big fat bank accounts i’ll never know. because it has NEVER HAPPENED!
additionally, i think the puritan roots of america’s anglo-saxon ‘majority’ has done far greater hurt than good over the duration of this nation’s history. while it’s true that in most places you will see merely a handful of the pinkish-white caucasian faces peering out at you in the US, they are still the majority. they are repressed, self-righteous, self-indulgent, and have a serious superiority complex. differences are something to be feared, reviled, threatened and done away with. it is a sad state of affairs.
