i cannot even fully do justice to just how unbelievably awesome the whole weekend has been. really, i can’t. there’s just SO MUCH that i’m surprised merely one weekend can contain it all.
friday was unbelievable…yes, i have already seen santana once before, but i was in no way prepared for just how incredible the show would be. if anything, they have gotten a million times better. now, with more rock! SWEET JESUS! it was…eargasmic. again, santana makes it into the ranks of some of the best concerts i have ever been to in my entire life. plus it was a really long show; compared to most concerts in the boston area, anyway. they played for nearly three damn hours! totally worth the price of ticket, and then some! i cannot believe how much rock was packed into one night!
and yesterday? yesterday we met up with alex and lindsay (love!) and went to see margaret fuckin’ cho! it was the 2nd time for me and the first for the boy…so.fucking.hilarious! i loves me some margaret cho, man.
plus, last time i saw margaret cho i totally didn’t think to score some kick ass merch, so this time i made a point to (my fuckin’ kingdom for a “hello, my name is gwen…” t-shirt). and thus, these are MINE:
muah ha ha haaa! isn’t that awesome? now i just have to convince aragorn to let me get him the ASSMASTER panties (they’re for men!).
plus, KELLY! was there! and performed “shoes” live! omg shoes! i may or may not have downloaded a bunch of kelly videos to put on my ipod today…
