so…lately i’ve been obsessed with cupcakes. because they are awesome and fabulous and tasty and oh so cute!!!. of course, i don’t quite have Ultimate Skillz yet, but i am appropriately in awe of those who do. lately i would love nothing more than to bake fabulous cupcakes all day long.
last night, i got to try my hand at a bit of creative cupcakery, however. it was so much fun! and didn’t turn out too bad, if i do say so myself:
this is my first attempt at some extra-tasty mini-cupcake bites. part truffle, part chocolatey treat, part awesome. i wish i had’ve thought of something so inventive and cute. of course, i’ll have to perfect my technique and maybe try different types of cake/flavoring combinations, but on the whole i’d say it was a success.
sunday i shall package up all of my delicious confectionaries and give them out for the june birthday dim sum shindig of tastiness. so hopefully everyone will like them as much as i liked making them (surprisingly easier than they first seemed!)
