i usually don’t gush over stars, unless they’re dudes i fully want to bone, but america ferrera is probably one of my most favorite actresses, hands-down. true, she hasn’t got a long list of films under her belt, but i love how she isn’t just another cookie-cutter, carbon copy of every other vapid (usually blonde), skeletor-esque, hobag starlet you see out there. whereas the paris hiltons and lindsay lohans of the world garner fame by just “being”, and whoring it up left and right it’s refreshing to see someone with actual talent and non-surgically-enhanced beauty. plus, she seems like a girl you could actually get to know and like. she seems real.

and, ok her name could be a bit cheesy at times and christ knows almost 90% of the rest of the world hates america, the country…but she takes it, owns it, and makes it hers.
plus, she’s gorgeous. even if she is finding her fame by being “ugly” (one of my most favoritest of shows!).
i have to say, though, as pretty as these pictures are…i hate what blackbook did to her on the cover. and why so serious? she has a gorgeous smile…they should’ve taken advantage of it.
