yesterday we saw Kick-Ass, and it was fucking awesome.
i’ve been wanting to see it ever since i saw the first red band trailer, and have literally been counting down the days until it opened. after a whole god damned ordeal in natingham, we headed to the 9:00 show and oh my god!
i loved it! love love loved it! i would totally see it again, too! even though the movie has nicolas cage and you should always limit your exposure to his particular brand of non-acting craziness, he was actually awesome in the movie! believe it or not! that right there, was particularly surprising. ok, ok, so he wasn’t really acting, but it didn’t take away from the movie in this instance.
also, fucking mclovin is in the movie! he is not aging well at all, but was still funny! hopefully in another 5 years he doesn’t still look like an awkward teenager. cuz you know, that, will be unfortunate.
but really all you need to know is that the movie is fucking unbelievable and the best part about it is Hit Girl. she is completely amazing and awesome and totally everything i would want to be in life, for serious. if i saw this movie when i was a kid, things would probably gone a lot different for me. and/or i would have an extensive prison record. either way, Hit Girl is the fuckin’ tits, man.
