as much as i’ve been anticipating this film — and really, anything with seth rogen in it, if we’re being honest — i’ve been so flat out with work and so tired, that the boy had to actually remind me that this was opening weekend! for shame! after realizing that, it was like MUST WATCH MOVIE NOW!!! which proved to be an ordeal because everyone is still creaming their panties over 3D (why, i don’t know…) and i really didn’t want those awful glasses and the headaches they cause to ruin my seth rogengreen hornet experience. so we trucked out to waltham in search of a regular showing.
the movie? oh.my.god…it was fucking fantabulous!!! i don’t really know what i was expecting, i’m not necessarily a die-hard green hornet fan to begin with; but there’s one thing i love in this world and it is seth rogen. and he delivered. of course, jay chou doesn’t really live up to bruce lee — really, who can? — but is still a decent kato. and he’s adorable, so that helps. plus AWESOME TOYS! and, i’m 90% sure that kato is a robot.
also: seth rogen in suspenders. seth rogen in a three-piece suit. seth rogen in a spiffy hat.

in other news, i got a spiffy new shirt. it feels all summery and is really soft (and sparkly!). i have decided i need more pineapple stuff.
