today we went to alex’s house, he’s back till the end of the month before he moves over to hawaii.
and, not only did we get to see a good friend, but I TOTALLY GOT TATTOOED! yes! i had some concepts for adding pieces to my bro tat (tiny, bespeckled octopus) and he took the concept and made it so much more awesome!
now, i have a bevy of extra fancy squishable sea creatures on my back! so exciting! there’s a nautilus with a monocle, a jelly fish with round glasses, my octobuddy with cat eye glasses, a squid with square glasses, and a cuttlefish with a top hat!
they are FANCY! and awesome. and the most lovely squishable cephalopods (and jellyfish).
after my big tattoo this summer, i think i want to work on more nautical lovelies. there are so many bad ass sea creatures that didn’t make it into the squishable gang. i’m definitely thinking of narwhals, hammerhead sharks, SHARKS IN GENERAL FUCK YEAH!, manatees (they’re funny!), angler fish, sea horses, and maybe a whale or two.
of course, where do all these fuckers go? i don’t even know right now, but i am definitely excited for all my tattoo prospects!
