i require insurance! i require assurance!!! DAMN IT TO HELL!!!

i’ve tried random online insurance quoting places, liberty mutual (who never picks up the god damned phone!), AAA and others. all the time i get some contact info and a quote that means precious little to me, i can’t get through to anyone. it’s fucking frustrating as all hell.

all i want is for my spiffy lil car to be insured so i can register with this godforsaken state and get it all overwith. but nooooo…that’s apparently too much to ask for.

you know, my weekend started out pretty spiffily. work is going hella awesome lately & the rain finally let up friday afternoon. no committments, no plans, no overtime, no obligations all weekend. a whole two days of relaxful awesomeness lying ahead of me.

and all was well. leisurely walking back from the boy’s this afternoon, taking in the gorgeous weather and general awesomeness of the day, i thought that nothing could mar the spiffiness of my weekend…

i’ve come to realize — yet again — that january is one of my most hated months ever. definitely moreso than december & thus i’ve also realized that i’ve been submerged in the worst case of the mean reds ever.

practically nothing lifts this mood. and just about any little thing sets me off.

the weekend did little to improve upon the murderous wrath swallowing me up last friday:

so-so BSG episode (first time i’ve ever been actively disapointed by it)
too much laziness overall
a door attacked my ankle
annoying stores
my bean bag was so destroyed that over a week’s worth of washings at the cleaners has yet to resurrect it
bleh everything

maybe i should just avoid all human contact for the duration of the next two days…or years…whatever.
